Nathan Wheat and Jennifer Clark of the firm’s Tampa office obtained Summary Final Judgment in a lawsuit filed by a former management employee of MMH’s client, a landscaping company. The employee alleged that the defendant had failed to pay certain amounts he believed were owed to him pursuant to his contract after he terminated his employment. The employee argued he had good reason to terminate his employment, which he claimed entitled him to certain bonuses that would not have been owed to him otherwise. In order to avoid a prolonged appellate process, the matter was subsequently resolved on a confidential basis.
