David P. Herman is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled complex cases in both state and federal courts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami. The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has rated Mr. Herman as “AV Preeminent”, its highest rating.

Mr. Herman was born in Newark, New Jersey. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and won the Florida Bar State Moot Court Competition, co-authored the Best Brief and was selected Best Oral Advocate. He is also a member of Order of Barristers.

Mr. Herman is a member of the Florida Bar, admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and is a member of the Dade County, Florida and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), the Defense Research Institute, including the Medical Liability and Product Liability Committees, and the Aviation Insurance Association.  In 2015, Mr. Herman was named as a Top Rated Lawyer, South Florida’s Legal Leaders, as published in the Miami Herald.
